Since 1993 "Autkogaz" is operating in Warsaw market. At the beginning, our activity was focused on LPG installations for carburetor engines. Paradoxically, in spite of simplicity those installations, that was a difficult period for "Autkogas". Availability of LPG tanks was poor, and we had to wait too long for the first tanks, placed in the spare wheel space. In that time import of LPG installations was chaotic and irregular. Russian and Belarusian systems enjoyed popularity, but quickly they disappeared due to poor quality, leaving many disappointed users.
Next to the cars equipped with carburetor, which were the majority on polish roads, first injection and Lambda sound cars emerged. We quickly realized, that without improving our knowledge on modern injection systems and without professional technical backup, it will be impossible to manage new market requirements. In 1994 we established cooperation between the Engines Research Laboratory in Industrial Motor Institute in Warsaw, called PIMOT.
PIMOT was the first distributor of well known Landi Renzo company. Professional advising system and permanent access to the latest (of that time) LPG installations, created comfortable conditions of growth for our company.
The next important step, was opening "AUTKOGAZ" workshop at the PIMOT site, witch operated till the end of 1999. Year 2000 bring us significant changes. The Institute transformations and need to create own image on the market, caused transfer our seat to Bielany at Podleśna 38A street.
Last few years at the LPG branch in Poland are plentiful in influence of many (unnecessarily best quality) installations. After verifying that, we decided to cooperate only with representatives equipped with technical service and available to solve problems with LPG adaptation.
Our LPG systems are not basic and the cheapest. We treat every car individually to find the best solution. More advanced technology gives better final effect, witch is important for us as for our customers.
